My time at Millfield allowed my strengths to thrive and my weaknesses to improve. The various roles I had gave me direct responsibility as a young adult and allowed me to professionally develop at an accelerated rate compared to my university peers. I feel what is unique to Millfield is the amount of opportunities there are to work in various roles and progress into more senior positions.

Senior roles at a young age are invaluable and the full-time team understand this, doing their utmost to fully support you along the way. Another note is the amount of fun and freedom to express yourself in multiple environments that Millfield allows. A job like no other where essentially the more fun you’re having the better time the children are having.

Being yourself and embracing a summer camp or course buzz is a fantastic feeling I cannot explain. I owe a tremendous amount to Millfield for the personal progress I have made with self-confidence/assurance. I wouldn’t be in my current job without it. You get exposed to leadership and responsibility early in your professional career which is essential for further development.
