Millfield Golf School

Bookings and Course Structure

Shortly after submitting your application a confirmation email will be sent including a link to our Golf School Guide which contains important information. Please inform us of any changes to your email address after submitting an application form.

Millfield reserves the right to cancel the Golf School up to 7 days before the start date or 7 days before individual session dates due to unforeseen circumstances or if numbers enrolled have not reached the minimum requirement. A complete refund of the fee will be given or an alternative course will be offered.

The Golf School may be cancelled at any time by Millfield if Government restrictions are imposed which make it impossible to run the course. A complete refund of the Golf School fees will be given or a credit for a future course offered.

A non-refundable deposit of 50% per child per term is included in the Golf School fees. In most cases, refunds will only be given in the event of the Golf School being cancelled by Millfield. The deposit is non-refundable in all other cases once paid. Requests for refunds for the Golf School that are cancelled by the parent/guardian cannot be guaranteed and will be dependent on the reason for cancellation – refunds are at the discretion of the Director of Enterprises and will be decided on a case-by-case basis.

Fees not paid in full at 28 days prior to the Golf School start date will be cancelled and all fees paid retained. All fees paid will be forfeited by anyone cancelling a place on the Golf School within 28 days of the Golf School start date.

If the Golf School is full, names will be added to a waiting list on a first come, first served basis. Please note that this does not guarantee a place on the Golf School. You will be contacted prior to the start date if a place becomes available.

In some cases we are unfortunately unable to accept a child onto the Golf School if we feel that we are unable to provide the individual and specific support needed to enable the child to fully participate. We will discuss any of these cases with the child’s parents and if we are unable to provide a place on the Golf School we will issue a full refund of any fees paid.

Welfare

Millfield reserves the right to withdraw any participant from the Golf School for behaviour we deem to be detrimental to the smooth-running of the course or which might interfere with the safety of any other participants on the course.

Regulations made for the safety and comfort of Golf School participants must be observed.

Golf School participants are strongly advised to take out accident/curtailment insurance. First aid cover is available throughout the golf school and minor analgesics (paracetamol), throat lozenges and cough linctus may be dispensed. By agreeing to these terms you are giving consent for this treatment if required unless written objection is received in advance. For any treatment that cannot be administered on-site, parents/guardians would be responsible for collecting their child and making further arrangements with a local surgery or hospital if required unless the need for treatment is considered to be a medical emergency.

First names, photographs or images (including video recordings) may be taken and used online and/or in print for use in promotional material (such as adverts and brochures), on our websites or on social media. On occasion, these may be used for press and media purposes, or for educational purposes as part of the curriculum, or extra-curricular activities. We may seek specific consent from Parents or Legal Guardians before using a photograph or video recording where we consider that the use is more privacy intrusive. Where the student is of sufficient maturity (usually when aged 12 years or older) we may seek the student’s specific prior consent (which may be obtained verbally) in addition to or instead of the Parents’ or Legal Guardian’s consent. Objections will be respected - please make these in writing to media@millfieldenterprises.com no later than 72 hours before the course start date.

If children wish to take photographs and videos on personal devices during the Golf School, they must seek permission from staff and any other participants involved. It is the parents’ responsibility to ensure that their child is aware of this. Under no circumstances should any photos and videos be taken in any toilets or changing facilities.

Millfield and Millfield Prep are non-smoking campuses, therefore smoking and vaping is strictly prohibited. It is not permitted to bring alcohol onto any of our campuses.
