Student Recruitment Agents
Why Choose Millfield?
With so many language schools it can be hard to know the best place to send your students. Here are just some of the reasons why you should choose Millfield:
We engineer spaces where natural learning can take place in a holistic setting, equipping students with life-long language ability, and social and cultural awareness.
We understand that every child learns differently and over the years we have developed new programmes to reflect this including Global Young Leaders, Cambridge Assessment English and our flexible timetable where students choose when and how they want to learn.
Students are supervised 24 hours a day and student health or welfare problems are spotted quickly and dealt with promptly by staff who have at least a Level 1 qualification in Safeguarding.
We have a fantastic range of facilities from which to run our activity programmes including a 50m swimming pool, water-based astro pitches, theatres, specialist cookery classrooms and concert halls.
Many of our students come back to us year after year, which is testament to the experience they have at Millfield. We're so proud to see how our students grow each year and are amazed by the young adults they become.
We build identity and loyalty through things like our 5 Year Club which was founded in 2011, where all staff, students and group leaders who have attended our courses for 5 or more years have dinner together and proudly wear the special t-shirt they are given to mark the special occasion.
In 2017 we started MELHC Legends, where each year we choose three ex-students as Legends who talk to our current students about their time on our courses and how the courses helped to shape their lives as they are today. It gives the students something to aspire to, knowing that they could, one day, become an MELHC Legend.
A Range of Nationalities
In 2019 we had students from over 50 nationalities join our courses.
Safe and Beautiful Surroundings
Our campuses are in the heart of the beautiful Somerset countryside, providing a safe and peaceful setting for students.
Accreditations, Memberships & Awards
We're proud of what we do and continually strive to improve which is why we are members of a number of professional bodies relevant to our industry, ensuring we keep up to date with market trends and current legislation.
Alongside continuous staff development, we invite organisations such as the British Council to inspect our courses in order to gain accreditation so our customers know we are providing the best service we can.
It's always an honour to receive recognition for hard work and we're very proud and thankful for the awards we have won over the years from customer votes and industry experts.
How we Support our Agents
Dedicated International Client Advisors
Each of our agents are appointed an International Client Advisor who help with every step of the application process and throughout the courses. You can meet our team here.
We provide a range of marketing materials for agents to use in the promotion of our courses including a range of photos and videos. We also produce a brochure each year which can be viewed online or received in the post.
Personal Online Account
All agents are provided with an online account where they can complete students' application forms, download any supporting documentation they need and read our informative Agent Guide where agents can find all the information they need about the courses.
Online Course Guides
We provide online course guides for agents to give to parents and guardians, as well as a student guide for students to prepare for their time in the UK.
Sometimes you just have to see things for yourself which is why our agents are welcome to visit us at any time of the year. Once agents have booked an appointment with out International Client Advisors they can see how to find us here.
We understand that many parents feel more comfortable when their children are accompanied to the UK by an agent. With every 10 students booked we provide a free place for a Group Leader to accompany the children attending. Find out more about being a Group Leader below.
Being a Group Leader
Group Leaders are allocated a Group Leader Co-ordinator who is their primary contact during their stay. They ensure agents are fully informed of the programme for their students and are there to assist in solving any issues an agent may have.
The Group Leader Co-ordinator will also organise special trips for Group Leaders so that they too get to see some of the amazing places in our wonderful county.
Group Leaders are provided with free accommodation and food for the duration of their stay with us, and are able to use our laundry service.
