Susie Dent to speak at Millfield
We're pleased to be hosting the English UK South West Annual Conference and AGM at Millfield next week. The conference is open to all English UK members and other members of the ELT sector.
This year's plenary speaker is Susie Dent who will be focusing on the hidden etymologies and surprising histories of so many of the words we use in 'The Private Lives of Words.'
Susie recently celebrated 25 years as the resident word expert on C4’s 'Countdown', and also appears on the show’s comedy sister '8 out of 10 Cats does Countdown.'
