Millfield Enterprises Shortlisted for Mendip Business Awards

We are delighted to have been shortlisted for the Mendip Business Awards in the category of International Business of the Year, which celebrates the businesses successfully exporting the district’s products and services.

Amongst other courses and events, we run the Millfield English Language Holiday Courses (MELHC) during the Easter and summer holidays for international students. The courses have been running since 2001 and provide students with an opportunity to develop their English language skills in an engaging and creative environment.

Speaking of the courses, Mark Greenow (Director of Holiday Courses and Events) has said, “The best institutions have a sense of purpose and on MELHC this is ingrained, with clear ideas about what we want to achieve in a modern learning environment. This is a people industry and we realise that when parents send their children to us they don’t just want a language course, they want the best possible future for them. We engineer spaces where natural learning can take place in a holistic setting, equipping students with life-long language ability, and social and cultural awareness.”

The awards, which will be hosted by ITV’s Ben McGrail, will take place in the Member's Marquee of The Royal Bath & West Show on Thursday 30th May.
