Millfield Enterprises is sad to announce that this August, Mark Greenow will be retiring from his role of Director of Holiday Courses & Events after 21 years of dedicated service at Millfield.
The team will miss his daily guidance but are pleased to confirm that Mark will remain part of the Millfield family on a consultancy basis, continuing to provide advice and support based on his invaluable knowledge of the English language teaching sector.
Mark holds many qualifications including a Masters Degree in Modern Language Teaching and has written a number of EFL books including ‘Relay 3’ which is a successful and innovative book written especially for English language short courses, and the 'Global Young Leaders Organiser'. He also designed the Course and Vocabulary Organiser which is given to every student who attends the Millfield English Language Holiday Courses. In addition to his work at Millfield, Mark is also an examiner for Trinity College London and is currently Chair of English UK South West.
The team are delighted that they will still be able to benefit from Mark’s invaluable expertise of working on English language courses for 44 years and his many years of experience in the events sector.

The Millfield English Language Holiday Courses will be returning next summer and the Enterprises team cannot wait to welcome students back once again.
On Sunday 22nd August the England and Italy U18 rugby teams faced each other at Millfield School for their first international game in two years.
Starting October 2021, Millfield School in Street, Somerset is offering a unique opportunity for young cricketers to receive dedicated spin bowling coaching from former International Spinner Peter Such through Millfield –The Spin Academy.
Last week (9th to 13th August) we hosted the Cricket Ireland Men’s Senior Squad for a training camp at the Millfield Senior campus in Street.
Facilities used included the first team cricket field, the Wilson Pavilion, the outdoor nets and indoor cricket centre which features PitchVision technology on three lanes, a state of the art 4G fielding area, three adaptable bowling and batting surfaces, as well as five nets and an expansive 22 metre run-up.
This August children attending our Swim Camps at Millfield School in Street will have a unique opportunity to train with Team GB Olympian Jazz Carlin.
This summer children attending the junior and senior rugby courses at Millfield School in Street will have the opportunity to train with Lee Mears who has played professionally for both Bath and England.
