Academic Programme
Millfield English Language Holiday Courses are accredited by the British Council and teachers are either appropriately trained to teach English as a Foreign Language or are Subject Specialists.
Our main focus is on delivering an engaging learning experience suitable for each student's ability; all of the students attending our courses will participate in a minimum of 15 hours of English tuition per week.
All teaching materials are provided and are included in the cost of the course. On successful completion of the course, all students will receive a course certificate and report which will include their own reflections as well as feedback from their teacher, activity leader and houseparent.
Street Campus (ages 12-17)
Students can choose one of the following English options: General English, Academic English, or Global Studies (ages 14-17 only).

Learning Notebooks
All students attending our courses will receive a Learning Notebook which includes sections for each part of the academic experience, with notebooks specifically tailored to the core programme of whichever option a student chooses.
English Mentors
Millfield students acting as English Mentors will guide, support, and help students to develop their spoken English by modelling the language. They are residential and take part in all English lessons, activities, excursions, and social events.

Social Programme
A full social programme is provided at each campus and is included in the course fees. This ensures that every student is kept busy and has maximum opportunity to practise English whilst making friends with students from around the world, in a fun and enjoyable environment, making every moment special.
Health & Welfare
Students are supervised 24 hours a day and student health or welfare problems are spotted quickly and dealt with promptly by staff who have a qualification in Safeguarding.
Afternoons at Millfield - Activities and Extra English
We offer a wide range of enjoyable activities for students to take part in for four afternoons a week. Students can choose one option per week. At Street Campus, students can choose to study an extra 8 hours of English per week by choosing the English Workshops afternoon option.
Optional Extras
We offer a range of optional extras including transfers, exams and courier delivery for paperwork.
