Additional Hygiene & Safety Measures - Sports & Activity Courses
Before you arrive
Anyone wishing to send their child on our holiday courses must book a place in advance by completing an application form. Children who have not been pre-booked 7 days before a course start date will not be permitted to attend.
Complete our pre-screening questionnaire
To ensure the safety of the school community during the Covid-19 pandemic, we are asking everyone intending to enter the campus to complete a digital pre-screening questionnaire before arrival. In line with regulations, the data collected will be stored, securely and confidentially, for a maximum of 21 days and then permanently destroyed. The information may be shared with third parties where it is deemed necessary. You will receive a link to a Course Guide in the confirmation email you receive upon booking, with a link to complete our pre-screening questionnaire. If this is not completed, your booking will be cancelled.
If you or anyone else in your household has Covid-19 symptoms or a confirmed case of Covid-19
If you/your child or anyone else in your household is displaying COVID-19 symptoms or has a confirmed case of Covid-19 we ask that you/your child do not come on-site for 10 days from the last day that you have symptoms or the date the case is confirmed. In this instance, please contact us by e-mail at email@example.com to cancel your booking. You can see the current list of symptoms at nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/symptoms
If you/household members have recently returned to the UK from another country
If you/your child or anyone from your household has recently returned to the UK from a country where the Government currently asks for self-isolation on returning to the UK, you will not be permitted to use our facilities until your self-isolation period is over. Please check the current guidance on gov.uk
Changes and updates
We will constantly be monitoring the situation and Government guidelines and may make changes to our Sports & Activity courses and how we operate based on this. We will contact the Parent/Guardian of any child booked by email with any updates.
Full details on where to park will be given prior to the course start date, please ensure you only park in designated parking areas.
Most courses are operating under drop-off procedures, where parents/guardians are asked to remain in their car. For courses where the drop-off procedures are different to this, all guests, including adults dropping off children for a holiday course, must sign-in at the registration point (details of which will be given before the course start date) and sign-out when you leave site. The Government are asking businesses to collect contact details from customers to help the NHS Test and Trace respond to any local outbreaks, therefore, anyone entering the site will be asked for these details.
There will be signs on-site informing guests of safety measures in place. Please ensure you adhere to any guidance.
On-Site Social Distancing Measures
Reduced numbers and no spectators
We have reduced the number of spaces on our sports & activity courses to allow for social distancing/Government guidelines. These numbers may change closer to the course start dates if Government guidelines allow.
Staggered start/finish times
The start and finish times for our sports & activity courses may change from what is advertised as we may introduce staggered start and finish times to limit the amount of people at our registration points at any given time (dependent on total course numbers).
Children may be allocated to specific groups on their sports & activity courses, dependent on total course numbers. Although there may be other groups doing the same course, children will be asked to stay within their allocated group.
On-Site Hygiene Measures
We ask that all children uphold the highest possible hygiene standards. Whether it be when sneezing or coughing, through regular hand washing or the frequent application of hand sanitizer. Course coaches/leaders will guide children on this on arrival and throughout the day, but we ask that you prepare your child for this in advance by letting them know the procedures which will be in place. Hand sanitiser will be available at entry/exit points for parents and children to use.
All attendees aged 11 and over must wear a face covering when entering and moving around the site, unless medically exempt.
Enhanced cleaning will take place with a focus on shared facilities.
After using our facilities
