Kingweston is an ideal course for the casual golfer. It has panoramic views of the Mendip Hills and is set on flat Somerset land, making walking easy and play suitable for golfers of all standards and ages. The eighteen hole, nine green, course has a variety of tough par three's, tricky par four's and finishes with a challenging par five.
Members of the Kingweston Golf Society are able to enjoy the pleasure of playing golf, whilst keen golfers, wishing to obtain or better their handicaps and to play matches, may pay a small additional premium and join the Kingweston Golf Club.
All members of the Kingweston Golf Club must first be members of the Kingweston Golf Society.
To become a member of the society please download the Kingweston Golf Society Membership Application Form and return it to us at your convenience. We have two PGA qualified golf professionals who are able to give lessons at Kingweston, Karen Nicholls and Stuart Wells. Karen is Director of Golf at Millfield and Stuart is the Head Coach. Karen is a member of the Ladies European Tour, is the English Schools Girls Team Manager and is coach to the British Army Ladies Golf Team. Stuart has played to a high level, winning several PGA county and regional events.
Both Karen and Stuart have tremendous experience in golf coaching, with individuals and groups. This is shown with the success the Millfield Golf Academy has shown over the last few years - winning the HMC Foursomes 6 times in the last 8 years, winning the Golf Foundation Team event nationally and representing England in the International finals, where they finished fourth overall. Along with these successes there have been many individual ones, including the English Girls Champion in 2001, several English Schools Internationals and English, French and Irish U18 Internationals.
Karen and Stuart are available for both individual and group lessons. If you are interested please ring +44 (0)1458 444201.
