English Language Holiday Courses

Millfield is one of the few Independent Schools to run its own Summer and Easter Programmes with British Council accreditation and has been voted the winner of the High School category of the Language Travel Magazine Awards. We were also the first summer school to be invited to join Quality English.

Over the last eight years we have been building something special at Millfield. Every year we have become bigger and stronger. We found ourselves at the enviable stage where demand outstretched our ability to supply. For this reason we decided to look for a partner school so that we could get our message out to even more people.

In Summer 2008 we opened a new centre at beautiful Downside School which is only a 40 minute drive from Millfield thus increasing our centres from two to three. The peaceful surroundings of Downside made this another perfect location for learning and following two successful summers we will again be expanding the choice of courses at Downside for 2010. The ever popular courses at Millfield and Millfield Prep School will continue to be available.

Whichever of the three centres you attend you will be part of the unique Millfield experience. As always it is our aim to provide students with a memorable, productive, stimulating and enjoyable experience. Students will get involved, make friends, develop potential, work hard and play hard in probably the best all-round summer school in the world.

We provide a full programme to ensure that every student is kept busy with maximum opportunity to make friends with students from all around the globe and practise their spoken English.
